DTE Electric Company’s $1 Billion Green Bond Offering

DTE Electric Company announced the public offering of $1 billion of its green bonds. The bonds will finance green, or clean, energy investments, such as investments in solar and wind generation facilities, as well as energy efficiency programs to reduce energy waste. The bonds were issued on March 29, 2021.

The underwriters are BofA Securities, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, BMO Capital Markets Corp., BNY Mellon Capital Markets, LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., TD Securities (USA) LLC, Fifth Third Securities, Inc., PNC Capital Markets LLC, Siebert Williams Shank & Co., LLC, Truist Securities, Inc. and U.S. Bancorp Investments.

DTE Electric Company provides utility services. The Company generates, transmits, and distributes electricity to residential and commercial sectors, as well as offers billing and payment services.
