DNex and CGP’s RM273 Million Acquisition of 60% Stake in SilTerra

Rahmat Lim & Partners advised Beijing Integrated Circuit Advanced Manufacturing and High-End Equipment Equity Investment Fund Center (Limited Partnership) on the acquisition.

Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) has teamed up with Beijing Integrated Circuit Advanced Manufacturing and High-End Equipment Equity Investment Fund Center (Limited Partnership) – also known as CGP Fund –  to acquire Khazanah Nasional Bhd’s loss-making semiconductor unit for RM273 million cash.

The total purchase consideration is RM273 million. DNeX and CGP have also committed to a capital injection of no less than RM200 million by way of subscribing for new shares to be issued by SilTerra within 180 days from completion.

SilTerra Malaysia is a Malaysian semiconductor manufacturer. 

CGP Fund was established as a private equity fund in 2014 focusing on the semiconductor industry in China.
