Deutscher Sparkassenverlag’s joint venture with Ingenico


Hogan Lovells has advised Deutscher Sparkassenverlag on a joint venture with payment service provider Ingenico.


Deutscher Sparkassen Verlag GmbH (DSV), which is part of the Sparkasse Financial Group, and Ingenico Group S.A., Paris, have come to an agreement on the establishment of a joint venture in the payment sector for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The combination of DSV owned BS PAYONE GmbH, Frankfurt a. M., with Ingenico Payment Services GmbH, Ratingen, as well as additional companies of the Ingenico Group is to take place at the beginning of 2019.

Deutscher Sparkassen Verlag GmbH, along with its subsidiaries, provides solutions for saving banks, and the companies and associations of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Its solutions includes media content in digital and analogue form, electronic forms and consulting systems, technical devices, and bank cards.
