Macfarlanes has advised long-standing client Derwent London plc on its acquisition of Brixton’s Blue Star House for £38.1m before costs. Memery Crystal have advised a private family client on the sale of its freehold interest.
Covering 53,750 sq ft, the mixed use building comprises multi-let office space as well as restaurant and leisure units on the ground level.
Derwent has a successful strategy of identifying and investing in new areas and believes there is scope for the redevelopment of this site into a significantly larger scheme.
