Darwin Alternatives’ Acquisition Of Memoria

Macfarlanes has advised the owners of Memoria on the deal.

Memoria, a UK developer and operator of high-quality, private crematoria and memorial parks has been sold to investment management company Darwin Alternatives.

The transaction will see Darwin Alternatives acquire a portfolio of five wholly-owned crematoria, four further crematoria under management, two sites with planning consent for crematoria and burial grounds, and online funeral director and funeral-related financial services company Low Cost Funeral Ltd.
