Danaher’s $9.6 Billion Acquisition of Aldevron

Kirkland & Ellis advised Danaher Corporation on the deal, while Simpson Thacher represented the EQT VIII fund and Aldevron.

Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR), a global science and technology innovator, completed its acquisition of Aldevron from funds managed by EQT Private Equity and TA Associates for approximately $9.6 billion. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

Aldevron manufactures high-quality plasmid DNA, mRNA, and proteins, serving biotechnology and pharmaceutical customers across research, clinical and commercial applications.
