Cyfrowy Polsat’s €233 Million Bond Offering

Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Cyfrowy Polsat on the issue of series B bonds with an aggregate nominal value of PLN 1 billion (€233.56 million).

Cyfrowy Polsat, within its bond issue program, issued unsecured bearer series B bonds. The bonds were issued through a public offering addressed solely to professional clients, which did not require a prospectus or an offering memorandum to be prepared.

The transaction also included refinancing of the series A bonds issued by Cyfrowy Polsat in 2015. Greenberg Traurig also advised on this process and it was then a first bond issue governed by the new Bonds Act in Poland.

The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Partner Aleksander Janiszewski (Picture) and Partner Rafal Sienski who were supported by Senior Associate Marek Kleczek and Associate Maja Gawrysiuk. The team also included Associates: Tomasz Szekalski, Martyna Komorniczak and Michal Baldowski.
