CVC Capital Partners’ €4.6 Billion CVC Strategic Opportunities II Fund Fundraising

Simpson Thacher represented CVC Capital Partners in the formation and fundraising of CVC Strategic Opportunities II (“SO II”).

SO II closed at €4.6 billion, exceeding its original target of €4 billion, and will invest in long-term capital appreciation opportunities across Western Europe and North America that fall outside of CVC’s traditional private equity strategies.
