CoralTree Hospitality’s Acquisition of Controlling Interest in Magnolia Hotels Brand

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman advised CoralTree Hospitality on the deal.

CoralTree Hospitality announced its acquisition of a controlling interest in the Magnolia Hotels brand from Denver-based Stout Street Hospitality.

CoralTree will manage four of Magnolia’s six properties in Denver, Houston, St. Louis and Omaha, while licensing the name to the New Orleans and Dallas properties. With the addition of the six new Magnolia Hotels, CoralTree has a portfolio of 22 hotels and resorts throughout the U.S.  Pillsbury’s Travel, Leisure & Hospitality industry team, which is led by Salaman, routinely handles hospitality matters for CoralTree and other leading hotel management companies, including hotel management agreements and license agreements.  

The Pillsbury team was led by Christian Salaman (Picture) and included Corporate associate Ryan Minarovich and corporate strategy analyst Thomas Tiop.
