Converse v. Nestlé de Colombia


Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría successfully represented Nestlé in a trademark infringement case initiated by Converse.

The case involved an advertising campaign in which Nestlé de Colombia gave away pairs of Converse shoes to the winners. In the first instance judgement the claims were entirely dismissed, and Converse was ordered to pay Nestlé’s legal fees.
