BKM Berkemeyer advised Consorcio Corredor Vial Bioceánico on the transaction
Consorcio Corredor Vial Bioceánico secured $433 million financing for the development of The Bioceanic Corridor project in Paraguay.
Consorcio Corredor Vial Bioceánico is a society established in 2016 in Asunción by the Brazilian firm Constructora Queiroz Galvao S.A. and the Paraguayan company Ocho A S.A. to participate in the operation bidding of the Bioceanic Corridor Stretch Loma Plata – Carmelo Peralta in the Occidental Region of Paraguay. The Bioceanic Corridor project (277 km) includes ground movement, sewage construction, and bridges, between the departments of Alto Paraguay and Boquerón.
The financing includes a $433 Million notes offering structured by UBS A.G and a $60 million Revolving credit facility provided by Banco Nacional de Fomento, Banco Atlas S.A., Banco Regional and Banco Sudameris.
