Compañía de Inversiones Mercantiles S.A., a Bolivian investment firm, urged a Colorado federal court to confirm a $36.1 million arbitral award against Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua SAB de CV and its subsidiary GCC Latinoamérica, S.A. de C.V. following a dispute stemming from a shared investment.

Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua SAB de CV is a building products company. The Company produces, distributes and markets cement, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates, and innovative products related to the construction industries. Grupo Cementos, led by Hector Enrique Escalante Ochoa, Luis Carlos Arias Laso and Daniel E Helguera Moreno, has operations in Mexico, United States and Bolivia and in 2017 recorded $830 Million Revenues.
