CMIG International’s $300 Million Acquisition of Old Mutual LatAm Operations

CMIG International, a Singapore-based holding company finalized the acquisition of 100% interest in Old Mutual Latin America Business.

The transaction, which is still pending approval by the corresponding authorities, would include, as it has transpired, the companies Old Mutual Mexico, Old Mutual Colombia and the Latin American investment adviser Aiva.

China Minsheng Investment Corp., Ltd. offers private equity investment services. The Company, led by Kevin E. Lee, provides equity investment management, business and financial consulting, industrial investment, and asset management services.

Old Mutual PLC operates as an international long-term savings, protection, and investment Group. The Company, led by Bruce Hemphill, Ingrid G Johnson and Sue Kean, provides life assurance, asset management, banking, and general insurance to customers worldwide. In 2017 Old Mutual recorded $1.484 Billion Revenues.
