Cleopatra Hospital Group’s Alameda Healthcare Group’s Assets in Egypt

Dechert LLP has advised Alameda Healthcare Group on the deal.

Alameda Healthcare Group, one of the leading healthcare service providers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, closed its definitive agreement to sell 100% of Alameda Healthcare Group’s assets in Egypt to Cleopatra Hospital Group S.A.E. (CHG).

The transaction is conditional on Egyptian Competition Authority and Ministry of Health approvals in addition to detailed confirmatory due-diligence and shareholder and regulatory approvals. The deal is expected to complete during the first half of 2021.

CHG is Egypt’s largest private hospital group by number of hospital beds and number of operating hospitals and is listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
