Clearlake Capital Fund V’s $3.6 Billion Fundraising

Simpson Thacher represented Clearlake Capital in the establishment of the company’s largest private equity fund to date, Clearlake Capital Partners Fund V (“Fund V”), which announced a final close at its $3.6 billion hard cap. Fund V will invest in the industrials, energy and technology sectors.

Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. is a private equity firm specializing in middle market. The Firm, led by Behdad Eghbali has managed over $7 billion of institutional capital since inception and its senior investment principals have led or co-led over 100 investments.
