Clean Energy Finance Corporation’s A$50 Million Investment In Transforming Farming Platform

Herbert Smith Freehills advised the Clean Energy Finance Corporation on the matter.

The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) made a A$50 million equity investment in the Transforming Farming Platform (Platform). 

The A$100 million Platform targets underperforming small to medium mixed farming assets, and focuses on lifting productivity, reducing carbon emissions and sequestering carbon. The CEFC’s investment in the Platform enables the CEFC to bring focus to the sustainability profile of the agricultural sector in Australia.
