Cherokee Global Brands’ $40 Million Term Loan

Choate represented Gordon Brothers Finance Company in a $40 million refinancing deal to Cherokee Global Brands, a global brand marketing platform that manages fashion and lifestyle brands.

The term loan is secured by the company’s intellectual property, including the Cherokee, Hi-Tec, Magnum, Tony Hawk, Sideout and Liz Lange brands.

Cherokee Global Brands is using the loan to refinance its existing debt and increase liquidity.

Cherokee Inc. markets, manages, and licenses fashion and lifestyle brands for apparel, footwear, home products, and accessories worldwide. It owns or licenses Cherokee, Hi-Tec, Magnum, 50 Peaks, Interceptor, Hawk Signature, Tony Hawk, Liz Lange, Completely Me by Liz Lange, Flip Flop Shops, Everyday California, Carole Little, Sideout, Saint Tropez-West, Chorus Line, All That Jazz, Sideout Sport, and other brands.
