ChargePoint Holdings’ €250 Million Acquisition of has-to-be GmbH

Weil, Gotshal & Manges advised ChargePoint Holdings on the deal.

ChargePoint Holdings, Inc. singed the definitive agreement to acquire has-to-be GmbH. The purchase price amounts to approximately €250 million, subject to adjustments, and is to be paid in cash and stock. Closing of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

has-to-be GmbH is a leading European e-mobility technology provider headquartered in Austria in which, besides various private shareholders, Volkswagen is also an investor and key stakeholder.

ChargePoint Holdings, Inc., based in Campbell, California, is a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging network in North America and Europe and the world’s first publicly traded global EV charging network with a listing on the NYSE.
