CGS Management’s Acquisition of a majority stake in Stürtz Maschinenbau GmbH

CGS IV (Jersey) L.P., an investment fund managed by Switzerland-based CGS Management AG, finalized the acquisition of a majority stake in Stürtz Maschinenbau GmbH. Together with management, which will continue to hold a stake in Stürtz Maschinenbau GmbH, CGS is pursuing the objective of positioning Stürtz Maschinenbau even better on international markets. Additional acquisitions are intended to create a strong international industrial group, which will be operating on the key markets of PVC window production and continually be advancing its technological standards.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek comprehensively advised CGS on all legal aspects of the transaction and its financing. Stürtz Maschinenbau GmbH develops and manufactures individual machines and entire automation systems for the production of PVC windows with some 225 employees. The company was founded in 1946 and has a subsidiary in the U.S.A.
