Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes SAICAyG’s $150 Million Antitrust Dispute

The Comisión Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia (National Commission for the Defense of Competition) in Argentina issued a $150 million fine to Cervecería y Maltería Quilmes SAICAyG for abuse of dominant position and unfair competition.

Malting Quilmes brewery and is the leader in the market of beers in Argentina with approximately 68% market share. It has plants in Quilmes, Zárate, Mendoza, Currents, and Tunuyán Lavallol.
