Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Cerberus Capital Management (“Cerberus”) on their acquisition of Prudential’s Spanish photovoltaic portfolio, Infracapital Partners. With a total installed capacity of 36.4 MW the portfolio acquired by Cerberus comprises the Tordesillas, Valtierra I & II, Valtierra III, Fontellas and Lasesa PV plants.
Cerberus Capital Management is a leading international fund manager with US$29 billion currently under management worldwide. WFW Madrid has advised Cerberus on all their Spanish renewables acquisitions over the past 12 months, including that of Renovalia for €1bn, the Catalan wind farms Turó del Magré and Pujalt for €100m, and the Sierra Sesnández, Loma del Capón, Magaz y Cova da Serpe II wind farms for €175m.
