Catella Real Estate’s Acquisition of An Underground Parking Facility in Odense

Plesner has advised Catella Real Estate in the transaction.

Catella Real Estate, through the parking fund, Catella Parken Europa, has acquired an underground parking facility located centrally in Odense.

The seller is Odense Municipality. The acquisition is the parking fund’s third investment in Denmark carried out in collaboration with Catella’s Dutch partner, Orange Investment Managers.

The underground parking facility in Odense contains 990 parking spaces allocated across approx. 35,500 m2. The underground parking facility is located centrally in Odense and forms a central thoroughfare in Odense, as the underground parking facility connects Odense city center, which was previously divided by Thomas B. Thriges Gade.    

The underground parking facility will be operated by Q-Park.

The buyer, Catella Parken Europa, is a fund, managed by Catella Real Estate AG, which focuses on real estate management and investment. Catella Real Estate AG manages assets for approx. EUR 6 billion.
