Carr’s Group plc acquires Städele GmbH


GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB has advised UK-based Carr’s Group plc in its acquisition, via its German subsidiary Wälischmiller GmbH, of Städele GmbH

The transaction completes the takeover by Wälischmiller of a long-term business partner. Städele has recently made important contributions to the development of techniques relating to various products used by the oil and gas industry in the field of inspection and cleaning of tanks. The two parties will continue their collaboration during a transfer period, in order to ensure a complete skills transfer to the purchaser company.

Carr’s is an international market leader in the field of innovation and technology for agriculture, food and engineering. Wälischmiller is a subsidiary of Carr’s based in southern Germany, and is responsible primarily for the manufacture of manipulators and handling systems for the nuclear and chemical industries.

Städele develops and produces precision components for modular high-end robotic systems. Its products are renowned for absolute reliability, speed and maximum precision.
