Carlyle Fifth Asia Buyout Fund’s $6.55 Billion Fundraising

Simpson Thacher represented The Carlyle Group L.P. (“Carlyle”) in the establishment of its fifth fund dedicated to buyouts and other private equity investments in Asia, Carlyle Asia Partners V, L.P. (“CAP V”).

Carlyle has announced that CAP V raised $6.55 billion in total commitments, exceeding its target and hitting the hard cap.
