Capital Stage AG’s acquisition from Sunstroom Engineering of two solar farms in the Netherlands


Clifford Chance Amsterdam has advised Capital Stage AG on the acquisition from Sunstroom Engineering of an approx. 40 MW solar farm to be constructed in Ooltgensplaat, the Netherlands and of an approx. 10 MW solar farm to be constructed in Melissant, the Netherlands.

The team also advised on the project financing with funding provided by Rabobank and negotiated the project agreements.

The team was led by Hein Tonnaer (picture) and consisted of Pieter Leefers, Marije Senne (Corporate M&A), Liesbeth Buiter, Thomas Heijerman, Bram Kocken and Wouter van den Bosch (project documents), Cora Zeeman, Herman Steinvoort and Lotte de Bruin (Finance), Mark-Jan Arends and Krishna van Zundert (Notary) and in Germany with Florian Mahler, Axel Schlieter and Deniz Sunay.
