Canara, the trusted leader in critical power analytics and battery asset management services, has acquired Power Service Concepts, Inc., a leading battery services firm based in the greater New York metro area. The acquisition adds significant field service resources as Canara continues to focus on the growing battery services market.

Power Service Concepts has a 30-year track record of managing battery design, installation, maintenance, and testing requirements. With many long-term customers in the financial services and logistics markets, Power Service Concepts is experienced supporting the very stringent requirements of data center backup power infrastructure.

Both Canara and Power Service Concepts offer a broad array of battery services and a hardware-agnostic approach. Canara will continue to complement battery services with Canara Insight for Batteries monitoring software to deliver superior information allowing customers to make informed decisions about their battery assets.

The acquisition will add a strong field services and customer support team in the greater New York metropolitan area. The additional staff brings extensive experience in design, maintenance and testing procedures. Canara will integrate PSC’s product and services portfolio into its own to deliver improved capabilities to the market.
