Canadian Solar’s joint venture with Lira Empreendimentos

Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ: CSIQ), one of the world’s largest solar power companies, and Lira Empreendimentos entered into a joint venture agreement with the aim to invest in the development, financing, construction and ownership of solar power projects in Brazil.

Canadian Solar Inc. designs, manufactures, and sells solar module products that convert sunlight into electricity for a variety of uses. The company, led by Qu Xiaohua, Guangchun Zhang and Huifeng Chang, in 2016 recorded $2.853 Billion Revenues.
