Calgary Municipal Land Corporation’s $80 Million Parkade and Platform Innovation Centre

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Calgary Municipal Land Corporation in the $80 million parkade and Platform Innovation Centre.

On May 26, 2021, the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation completed the construction of its $80 million Platform Innovation Centre and parkade. The structure includes 50,000 square feet of office space on two levels, 503 vehicle parking spots, 6 electric vehicle chargers, a sport court, and bicycle parking. The structure will be operated by Calgary Parking Authority and will be used as an innovation hub for the City, with the goal of tripling Calgary’s technology sector over the next decade.

CMLC was incorporated in 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Calgary to implement a revitalization plan to kick-start Calgary’s urban renewal.
