McCann FitzGerald advised Capitalflow and its owner Pollen Street Capital on the sale of Capitalflow to bunq and NautaDutilh advised Pollen Street Capital.
Amsterdam-based challenger bank Bunq raised $228 million (€193 million) in a round led by Pollen Street Capital.
Bunq founder Ali Niknam also participated in the round, iinvesting $29.5 million (€25 million).
As part of the deal, Bunq acquired Capitalflow Group, an Irish lending company that was previously owned by Pollen Street Capital. The sale is subject to Dutch regulatory approval.
Established in 2016, Capitalflow lends to SMEs operating across various industry verticals in Ireland.
