Brunswick Corporation’s $1.05 Billion Acquisition of Navico

Baker McKenzie advised Brunswick Corporation on the transaction while Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Wiersholm represented Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Altor.

Brunswick Corporation signed an agreement to acquire Navico, a global leader in marine electronics and sensors for USD 1.05 billion. As a result of acquisition, Brunswick will add the industry leading brands of Lowrance, Simrad, B&G, and C-MAP to its Advanced Systems Group (ASG), which includes the leading Parts & Accessories P&A brands in power management, digital control and monitoring, and networked devices.

Brunswick Corporation manufactures consumer products serving the outdoor and indoor active recreation markets. The Company’s products include sterndrives, outboard, and inboard marine engines, fitness, billiards, and bowling equipment.
