Brookfield Property Partners along with ArrowMark Partners and Conversion Venture Capital’s $86 million acquisition of minority stakes in Convene

Jones Day has advised Brookfield Property Partners in its $86 million acquisition along with ArrowMark Partners and Conversion Venture Capital, of minority stakes in Convene.

Brookfield joined existing investors ArrowMark Partners and Conversion Venture Capital in leading the latest funding round.

Convene offers retail space for meetings and conferences, services for landlords and a tech platform that includes an application connecting building employees to services at their building.

With the $68 million Series C raise, Convene has now raised a total of $119.2 million, the firm said on Monday.

Brookfield Property Partners has roughly $65 billion in assets, and has 142 office properties worldwide.

Convene raised a Series B round in 2016, and since that point the company has more than doubled its commercial footprint.

Jones Day has advised Brookfield Property Partners on the deal with a team led by Andrew Levine.
