Blackstone’s Refinancing of Onyx and Sunflower Logistics Portfolios


Simpson Thacher represented Blackstone in the refinancing of its “Onyx” pan European urban logistics portfolio for €625 million and DKK 981 million, with Morgan Stanley and RBC, as senior lenders, and LaSalle Investment Management, as lead mezzanine lender.

Blackstone refinanced its “Sunflower” UK logistics portfolio for £483.1 million, with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as senior lender, and Partners Group, as mezzanine lender.

The Onyx portfolio comprises 164 high-quality logistics assets in key locations across France, The Netherlands and Denmark. The Sunflower portfolio comprises 126 high-quality urban logistics assets in key locations across England, Wales and Scotland.
