Fladgate LLP has advised Black Sheep Coffee Group on a complex agreement involving the acquisition of assets including eight cafes from Taylor St Baristas- a London-based, speciality coffee retailer.
The addition of these cafes increases the number of the BSCG estate to 33 across London and Manchester and an additional franchise in the Philippines.
The acquired sites will continue to operate under the Taylor Street Baristas “banner” in the short term but will be converted to Black Sheep Coffee format in due course.
The Fladgate team advised on all legal aspects of the acquisition and included specialists in real estate, corporate, commercial/IP and banking. The team was led by client relationship partner Gideon Dabby-Joory (Picture) and corporate partner Jamie Hamilton, assisted by banking partner Seetal Modi, banking associates Victoria Brownell and Wing Tang, commercial/IP partner Eddie Powell and commercial associate Michelle Waknine, real estate senior associate Adam Baker, real estate associates Grace Laws and Madeleine Holding and corporate associate Emily Comber.
