Bitso’s $250M Series C Financing

Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP advised Bitso on the deal.

Bitso, a cryptocurrency platform in Latin America, announced its $250 million Series C financing co-led by Coatue and Tiger Global. The new funding puts the company’s valuation at $2.2 billion, making it one of the largest fintech companies in the region and Latin America’s first crypto unicorn.

The Gunderson deal team was led by Daniel Green (Picture) and included Bradley Krack, Cathy Kwon, Ben Hinshaw and Jake Winton.
