BIS Industries’ Financial Restructuring

Simpson Thacher represented BIS Industries in the U.S. portion of its financial restructuring. As part of its restructuring, BIS Industries consummated various debt-for-equity transactions and amended and restated its unsecured notes and bank loans.

The restructuring was implemented through Australian schemes of arrangement and Chapter 15 recognition in the United States.

BIS Industries Limited provides logistics, materials handling, specialist underground equipment, and consulting services to resources companies in Australia and Indonesia. The company, led by Brad Rogers, is based in Osborne Park, WA.
