Bio Pappel’s $352 Million Senior Secured Dual-Currency Multi-Tranche Credit Facility

Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented Bio Pappel, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: PAPPEL), the leading paper producer in Mexico (the “Company”), as borrower, in a $352,000,000 senior secured syndicated term loan facility.

The proceeds of the facility, which was arranged by Credit Suisse, will be used to refinance the Company’s dollar and peso denominated debt.

Bio Pappel SAB de CV produces paper and paper products in Mexico and Latin America using recycled paper. The Company also manufactures corrugated packaging, newsprint, and bond paper.
