Bergendahl & Son AB has entered into an investment agreement regarding KitchenTime AB, where Bergendahl becomes the owner of 53% of the shares through a share purchase and issuance of new shares.
KitchenTime has one of the Nordic’s largest platforms for the sale of kitchen products, an annual turn-over of SEK 340 million and 50 employees. Further, the furniture concept Confident Living is included in KitchenTime.
Through the transaction Bergendahl will strengthen its position in relation to kitchen and home furnishing products and increase its focus on e-commerce. KitchenTime’s founders Joel Falck and Anton Malmberg remain as large owners and will continue to operate the company.
KitchenTime has one of the largest online kitchen product sales platforms in the Nordic region. The company has an annual turnover of SEK 340 million and 50 employees. Confident Living, a furniture and home furnishing concept, is also part of the company.
Bergendahls is one of Sweden’s largest family-owned group, with subsidiaries in the areas of non-durable consumables, supermarkets, home furnishings and fashion, and stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and Finland. Among other things, Bergendahls operates the retail chains City Gross, EKO Supermarkets, Glitter and Granite.
