Berenberg’s Junior Debt Financing To Energiequelle GmbH For Projects in Finland

Hogan Lovells and Roschier advised Berenberg and the Berenberg Green Energy Junior Debts Funds on the financing.

Berenberg has provided a junior debt package to international project developer Energiequelle GmbH to support the construction of an onshore wind farm in Finland. The wind farm comprises seven Nordex N149 turbines with a total capacity of 30 MW. The Konttisuo wind farm is the first investment for Berenberg’s debt funds in Finland and the start of a cooperation between Energiequelle and Berenberg in this sector.
