BC Partners’ Acquisition of a Majority Stake in Davies

Kirkland & Ellis advised HGGC on the deal. Osborne Clarke has advised the management team of Davies. AIMCo was advised by Allen & Overy. The BC Funds were advised by Linklaters LLP.

HGGC closed its agreement to sell a majority stake in Davies, the leading specialist professional services and technology business serving the global insurance market, to BC Partners. HGGC and AIMCo will continue to hold minority stakes following the completion of the transaction. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

HGGC is leading middle-market private equity firm with $5.4 billion in cumulative capital commitments. Since 2007, HGGC has completed 200 portfolio investments and transactions with a total enterprise value of over $28 billion.
