Banco do Brasil’s $750 Million Senior Unsecured Notes Offering

Hogan Lovells has advised Banco do Brasil S.A., one of the largest financial institutions in Latin America, in its issuance of US$750 million of senior unsecured notes under its euro medium term note programme (EMTN).

The transaction was priced on April 12th and settled on April 19th.

Banco do Brasil S.A. attracts deposits and offers retail and commercial banking services. The bank, led by Paulo Rogerio Caffarelli, Lucineia Possar and Jose Ricardo Fagonde Forni, in 2017 recorded $50.74 Billion Revenues.

The same Hogan Lovells team also advised Banco do Brasil with respect to a concurrent tender offer whereby Banco do Brasil purchased US$600 million of its outstanding perpetual subordinated notes. The tender offer was concluded on April 16th.
