Banco do Brasil SA’s $202.3 Million Acquisition of an additional 21,42% stake in Banco Patagonia SA

Banco do Brasil SA executed the acquisition of an additional 21,42% stake in Banco Patagonia SA, for $202.3 Million increasing its interest up to 80,38%.

Banco do Brasil S.A. attracts deposits and offers retail and commercial banking services. The Bank offers consumer, commercial, and agribusiness loans, asset management, foreign exchange, private pension, insurance, lease financing, credit cards, and Internet banking services. The Firm, led by Paulo Rogerio Caffarelli, Bernardo De Azevedo Silva Rothe, Jose Ricardo Fagonde Forni, acqired the majoirity of Banco Patagonia in 2013 from the selling shareholders Jorge Guillermo Stuart Milne, Ricardo Alberto Stuart Milne and Emilio Carlos González Moreno.

Banco Patagonia S.A. provides commercial banking services primarily in Argentina.
