Banco Continental S.A.E.C.A.’s $100 Million Loan

IFC provided a five-year US$100 million loan to Banco Continental SAECA in Paraguay to support the expansion of access to finance to SMEs and agribusiness. Working with Continental since 2008, IFC is also supporting the bank in its digital transformation.

Banco Continental S.A.E.C.A. provides banking products and services in Paraguay. The company was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Asuncion, Paraguay.

In Argentina, Nicholson y Cano advised the International Finance Corporation with Mariano Fabrizio (Picture) and Gonzalo Rivas Orozco.
