Banca Ifis’s €1.15 Billion Securitization Of A Factoring Credit Portfolio

The Clifford Chance and Hogan Lovells firms assisted in the placement, by Banca Ifis, of a securitization worth € 1.15 billion, based on factoring credits owned by the Institute.

In particular, it is the restructuring of a revolving transaction of a previous issue, the maturity of which was extended to July 2024.

In the context of the transaction, Clifford Chance provided assistance to the banking institutions that acted as co-arranger of the restructuring – Intesa Sanpaolo – IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division, Unicredit, BNP Paribas and Banco Santander (already subscribers of the previous transaction) , in addition to Crédit Agricole Cib and Societe Generale.

The team was made up of partner Tanja Svetina, senior associate Alice Reali and trainee lawyer Jacopo Scorsone.

Hogan Lovells assisted Banca Ifis with a team made up of partner Corrado Fiscale, associate Matteo Scuriatti and trainee Pietro Castoldi.

Internally, the deal was followed by the Legal Affairs – Finance and Investments team of Banca Ifis, led by Luca Vradini Scusa who provides specialized legal support, among others, in the Group’s proprietary finance operations and reports to the Legal and Corporate Affairs Department of Banca Ifis led by Lucia Martinoli.
