Bain Capital Specialty Finance’s Initial public Offering

Ropes & Gray team advised the underwriters in the initial public offering of 7,500,000 shares of Bain Capital Specialty Finance, Inc. common stock, priced at $20.25 per share.

Shares of common stock of Bain Capital Specialty Finance are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Nov. 15 under the symbol “BCSF”. Bain Capital Specialty Finance also granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1,125,000 shares of its common stock.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel Company, and Wells Fargo Securities are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering and Janney Montgomery Scott, JMP Securities and Academy Securities are acting as co-managers for the offering.
