Authentic Brands Group’s $110 Million Acquisition Of Sports Illustrated


Paul, Weiss represented Authentic Brands Group in its $110 million acquisition of the intellectual property of Sports Illustrated from Meredith Corporation.

The purchase includes Sports Illustrated’s associated brands, including Sports Illustrated™, Sports Illustrated Kids™, Sportsperson of the Year, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, SI™ and SI TV. Authentic Brands also acquired the rights to more than 2 million iconic images in Sports Illustrated’s photographic archives. Authentic Brands is a global brand development, marketing and entertainment company.
