Argos Soditic, an independent European private equity group, finalized the acquisition of Zodiac Milpro, a global leader in military and professional RIBs and inflatables, from Oaktree Capital Management.
Argos Soditic is an independent private-equity group with offices in Brussels, Frankfurt, Geneva, Milan and Paris. Since its creation in 1989, the group has executed over 70 Management Buy Outs (MBO) and Management Buy Ins (MBI) transactions on companies of average size (Enterprise Value ranging from 25 to 200 million euros). Its majority ownership investments range between 10 and 100 million euros.
Zodiac Milpro is the global leader for military and professional rigid inflatable boat and inflatables. The company is headquartered in Paris and has production and commercial entities in Europe, North America and Asia. Former branch of Zodiac Group, Zodiac Milpro has been acquired by Oaktree Capital Management in 2013 and thus became an independent company. It generates a turnover of 56 million € from April 2016 to March 2017, with a strong presence on all areas.
Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher advised Argos Soditic with Benoît Fleury (Picture), partner at Gibson Dunn’s Paris office, led the corporate team composed of Audrey Obadia-Zerbib, of counsel, and Cécile Antoine-Melon. Argos Soditic was co-advised by Arsène Taxand with Franck Chaminade, partner, and Brice Picard, on tax aspects, and Baker Mc Kenzie with Virginie Ulman and Nathalie Marchand, partners, on IP aspects. White & Case London advised Oaktree Capital Management with counsel Peter Lewis and Will Summers. Nabarro & Hinge advised the unitranche on financing aspects, with partner Jonathan Nabarro.
