Ameriprise Financial’s $500 Million Notes Offering


Simpson Thacher represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated as joint bookrunning managers in connection with a public offering by Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (“Ameriprise”) of $500 million of its 3% Senior Notes due 2022. The offering closed on March 22, 2019.

Ameriprise offers financial planning services, investments, insurance and annuity products and has been providing financial solutions for more than 120 years. Ameriprise has a national network of 10,000 financial advisors and extensive asset management, advisory and insurance capabilities.
