AM Alpha’s Acquisition of The Square Historical Building in Copenhagen

Bech-Bruun has advised AM alpha on the purchase.

One of the most prominent historical buildings in Copenhagen known as “The Square” has been acquired by the Munich-based family office AM alpha.

“The Square” consists of 16,700 square metres used for office, retail and residential purposes. It was designed by architects Henrik Hagemann and Knud Arne Petersen and built in the period from 1893 to 1900. Due to its baroque style exterior and the unique location at the City Hall Square, the property is one of the most iconic historical buildings in Copenhagen.

AM alpha specialises in joint real estate investments with private and institutional investors and has completed the acquisition on behalf of a Munich-based family office.

The Bech-Bruun team included Steen Puch Holm-Larsen (Picture) and Lasse Vittus Hupfeld.
