Altice Europe’s €2.8 billion Refinancing

Ropes & Gray has advised Altice Europe on the successful pricing and allocation of €2.8 billion of new 8-year Senior Notes at Altice Luxembourg SA following a well oversubscribed offering.

The proceeds from the transaction, which strengthens Altice Europe’s liquidity profile, will be used by Altice Luxembourg – along with a €500 million cash from Altice France and swap monetisation proceeds of €435 million – to partially repay its existing $2,900 million and €2,075 million 2022 Notes.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by finance partners Michael Kazakevich (Picture) and Aditya Khanna, alongside finance associates Greig Lamont, Mohammed Al Rasheed, Mansha Malhotra, Shabdita Gupta and Daniela Mozetic, all based in the firm’s London office.
