Air Lease Corporation’s $1.25 Billion Senior Notes Offering

Simpson Thacher represented the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, SG Americas Securities, LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, in connection with the public offering by Air Lease Corporation of $550 million aggregate principal amount of 2.5% Senior Notes due 2021 and $700 million aggregate principal amount of 3.25% Senior Notes due 2025.

The net proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things, the purchase of commercial aircraft and the repayment of existing indebtedness.

Air Lease Corporation is an aircraft leasing company, principally engaged in purchasing commercial aircraft and leasing them to airlines around the world.The company, led by Steven F Udvar-Hazy, John L Plueger and Gregory B Willis, in 2017 recorded $1.419 Million Revenues.
